Hats off (excuse the witchy pun) to Warwickshire Libraries Team's social media reels on Warwickshire County Council Libraries Instagram (@warwickshire_libraries) account. Great engagement and fun. Here is one of my favourites, as our Mobile Libraries are magically turned into a Witch's Lair!

Wonderful Shakespeare Bday celebrations in Stratford yesterday. 400 years plus after his death his legacy lives on. And what a cake! Shakespeare appeared outside his Birthplace in Henley Street, with his eldest daughter Susanna. Here with my daughter Zaynab 400 years after!

What a story, A Thousand Splendid Suns, transformed into a brilliant play. Such a moving experience and reminded me of the power of storytelling to stir your emotions. If you can would encourage you to pop down to The Birmingham Rep and book yourself a seat!

Great entertainment at The Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford last night, with the retelling of Shakespeare’s classic comedy #muchadoaboutnothing taking on world football themes. Although written in the late 1500s, the themes still resonate today and particularly to a younger audience. Bravo!

Great morning at Chesterton Windmill seeing first hand the sails being put on. The Windmill is an iconic monument both in Warwickshire’s landscape and as part of our country’s history, and it has been exciting speaking with the project team and reporters.
