Ayr Wargames Club was formed in the mid 1970's by six keen wargamers. We play a wide range of wargames, board & card games.
We hold weekly Sunday Meetings from 12pm until 6pm at St. Quivox Church (Dalmilling), Ayr.

Sunday 15th November we played some boardgames. Cash n Guns, Red Alert and Epic Spell Wars of the Battle Wizards: Duel at Mount Skullzfyre. The "pistols" are just foam shapes that come with Cash n Guns.

Sunday 2nd November: There were 2 games of 40K, Orcs vs Black Templars and Om-nom-nom-anids looking to eat someone who isn't in a picture. The Chain of Command game had to be postponed.
There is no club this Sunday as it is Remembrance Sunday. We'll be back to normal on the 16th.

Sunday saw the Britsh ships close the range giving broadsides or grappling and boarding. Ships started catching fire from damage and some exploded setting others aflame.

Gaming on Saturday. The British Fleet attacked in 4 squadrons along the line of French and Spanish ships. They had to weather long range fire from them until they could close and give broadsides as they cut through the line.

Weekend of 25th & 26th of October saw our annual big two day game with our friends from Sheffield Wargames Club.
As it was the 220th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar, we had a game based upon the battle using Kiss Me Hardy rules set.

Also on 5th October in the Warhammer 40,000 game some Votann Kin had a set to with some Black Templars Space Marines. They seemed to have a killy good time.

On 5th October we had a game of What A Cowboy, where Hired toughs tried to run some sheep farmers off their ranch. It didn't go well for the hired toughs, all were taken down, and the sheep ranchers were barely injured and there was no property damage or livestock harmed.

Games on Sunday 5th October. So far there is a Warhammer 40K game planned and a game of What A Cowboy which could take up to 4 players. Only 1 or 2 players playing at the moment, depends if I umpire the game.
