Tbh there were several points during this year where I wasn't sure I wanted to be in the games industry by the end of 2024. But I'm so thankful this has come along 😭

One guy on eBay was selling a very old, very dusty ~15 year old projector + screen setup for cheap and I jumped on it. Disassembled the lens, cleaned out the dust and it's been perfect since. It's actually a 3D projector too, so combined with my PS3, I've gotten super into 3D Blu-Rays too 😌

(for context, I've been posting on and off on Twitter about this high-speed 3D platformer I've been making for the last year and a half in Unreal, and I'm just now getting back to it after a long break. Lots of jumping, momentum, swinging, grinding, all that good stuff)

I'm trying to design plausible urban environments but also throw in the cool level mechanics I've built like rails, bounce pads, floating platforms, etc - and it all just feels incompatible.
