This has taken years of effort, money, and training to p̶e̶r̶f̶e̶c̶t̶ get to where it is today. Not impossible, but not easily replicable either.

The platform itself isn't what made TikTok special. Similar platforms already exist. The magic is in "the algorithm." The ability to not only decipher what you're into, but also what you may be into and don't know yet, and also bringing like-minded creators and viewers.

Don't forget that members of congress, senate, and even the supreme court own stocks in the competition...

Someone can, but it would be irrelevant. The TikTok ban was never REALLY about privacy.
