As war continues to devastate Sudan, another deadly threat is spreading cholera. With medical facilities destroyed and access to clean water severely limited, thousands are at risk. Since January, over 7,700 cholera cases and 185 deaths have been reported in Khartoum alone.

Mango harvest season in the Nuri area of northern Sudan has seen a significant decline in production compared to previous years. The drop is due to severe water shortages caused by prolonged irrigation disruptions, following power outages triggered by drone attacks on the Merowe Dam.
