Delighted to see how these overlap/play with Brachyurans, the crabfolk ancestry I wrote for Pathfinder Infinite last year (crab link for those that might be interested in such)

That’s how I got one of my groups started. When one of the players saw that kitsune witch was something she could just do without any flavoring anything or using any homebrew, she was sold. Granted that’s not the character she ended up playing, but hey. She was the first domino that fell into AV lol

Pathfinder is DnD but good, and second edition is my preferred game

If you’d like a free adventure to give them a taste, I wrote The Ransacked Relic: A Pathfinder Second Edition Adventure for New Players for that exact reason!

Millennia ago, the dwarves of the Darklands began their Quest for the Sky. Over the course of that centureis long campaign, numerous battles were won and lost. It was during one of those losses that G...

If I might suggest a short adventure to see if they would be on board that’s also free, I wrote The Ransacked Relic: A Pathfinder Second Edition Adventure for New Players to teach the game to new players. And the pre-gen characters were all made to show off the differences between PF2e and DnD

IMO Pathfinder is one of the best refinements of the DND formula, particularly if you want clear cut rules and a game that rewards tactical play and building characters together. It’s not as good for the dice improv the style of play, though you could absolutely do that too

My SKT party is currently a Hryngar Battle Creed Cleric of Droskar (playtesting for me), a kobold/vesperani inscriber, a dworc bloodrager barb, a dwarf champion of grundinar, and a dwarf gunslinger. It’s the one and only time they’ve ever had a coherent theme together lol

I do like this solution a lot as well. Definitely something to be discussed among the playtesters. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

That’s super cool!

I use my iPad nearly exclusively. Besides the general convenience of having all of my books *right there* on one device, it's easier to find things that way as well. In terms of physical media, I live in Japan so even if I wanted it, it would almost certainly not be worth the cost of shipping anyway

I’m open to it lol

This time around I was definitely trying to be very conscious of keeping the text flow clean, so I hope it pays off lol

Not in this book, but I do have stuff for Fleshwarps in a previous book, Inner Seas Ancestries. It also had an archetype called flesh forged warrior.
