Digging for data! AP environmental science students are extracting soil cores near the prairie, trees, and lawn on campus today to compare soil texture, color, and nutrient composition. Healthy soil is the foundation for a thriving and sustainable ecosystem.

We saw a bald eagle! Surreal to see it fly low & directly above us (probably just curious) while we did pollinator surveys. The wingspan was as wide as the path we were on. For many of us, this was our first time seeing one on the north side. So grateful to witness this magical moment outdoors 🦅✨
