Yes apparently his heart was removed and interred elsewhere. Not sure why but probably had something to do with perception and management of politics at the time. And definitely an underrated City. Great quality of life here but I know I’m biased I can’t imagine staying anywhere else x

Dunfermline- Ancient seat of power in Scotland as the ancient capital City. Burial place of kings including Robert the Bruce’s remains interred within the Abbey. Birthplace of Andrew Carnegie. I could go on and on, truly underrated City as overtaken by Edinburgh and Glasgow but really is wonderful x
