Also a bit sad that that the podcast often gets the plot of games you discuss in detail completely wrong (like, the basic blurb premise; in Clair Obscur people disappear, not sacrificed or sent to their deaths). I LOVE the banter, but basically I can't trust the podcast as journalism (

Re: the Marathon trailer, I think it's important for the fact that it was a short film by Alberto Mielgo (Witness, Jibaro, Windshield Wiper). It's not just "incredibly expensively produced" video, it was Mielgo getting money to make more films, which is incredible.

солдатские истории
рассказы о войне, солдатские рассказы. надо посмотреть в классике еще типа толстого где есть старые солдаты. Но тут чуть окрашено тем, что война = рекрутская служба в России давно. Разве что в парадном или полупарадном регистре, типа страницы боевой славы, рассказы/воспоминания о былых сражениях

Поэтому я сказал что захожу туда встряхнуть память, потому что как говорят, если что-то забыл, то порой мозг попал очень близко рядом и нужные нейроны тоже активировались и не ищутся, поэтому надо походить вокруг по ассоциациям, пока те не станут вновь чувствительными. или что-то такое.

я не снобирую (стараюсь!), просто на мультитране такой хаотик нейтрал. самые неожиданные и загадочные трактовки, по принципу "чем больше тем лучше", от порой эксцентричных людей, у которых, видимо, хобби пополнять мультитран. рядом с подходящим может лежать 5 невероятных вариантов

ооо, мультитран жесть, это настоящий нижний интернет словарей. честно говоря я тоже туда хожу, но чтобы встряхнуть память и вспомнить слово, которого там нет. потому что какие там придумывают абсолютно из воздуха переводы, это как двач какой-то
