As you reposted, it's important to commit the sin of empathy. Unless we do that, it's all pointless. Until YOU can do that, you won't change any minds. The same goes for all of us. Leaving people behind doesn't win elections. Doing our best to reach them does.

Listen, I understand that this loss is hurting you. Its hurting all of us. I know I'm not a troll, and if you disagree that's fine. But what do you gain from this? Seriously. You're arguing with someone who presumably voted the same way as you, has similar beliefs, and wants similar outcomes to you.

Its called paraphrasing to get to the point. If you'd like to explain to me how what he said translates to literally anything else, please let me know what that is.

How can you read "fuck the working class and don't bother trying to educate them" as anything other than a terrible talking point. If you think that makes me a right wing bot, then you are exactly what's wrong with the current establishment.

I want to clarify some things, 1) I never claimed that the right is better for the working class. 2) They are better at positioning themselves as fighting for the working class, especially to uninformed voters. Talk like this does nothing but make it easier for working class people to turn to Trump.

As someone from a white working class community in a state that went for Trump, not only is this not true, but this thought is dangerous and leads to further working class alienation. This is nothing but a propaganda talking point from wealthy Dems to excuse their abandonment of the working class.
