I don't think it's his fault. You just don’t take 2 centre backs for the bench. I did think at the time why have we bought him, but if we'd had injuries, we would have needed him.

And his biggest excuse, which he started laying down in August, was the lack of attacking talent, and yet he doesn't pick James and Gnonto. In fact, it looks like he might be driving out Willy like he did Largie.

I actually agree with him about that. Aaronson has his shortcomings, but so do a lot of the others. It's not all on him.
