Happy Trans Day of Visibility! I’m about 6 months on hrt and a lot has happened. I’m building up more confidence in myself, really started practicing drawing on the regular, I’ve found a hobby in making badges, and I’ve decided on a name change in the near future. I’m slowly becoming happier.

A recent replay of Okami had me draw a few times. This turned out a lot better than I thought it would considering I had to use a controller.

I think I’m going to post fewer full pages of my art journal and focus more on milestones and notable progress. This recent one is probably my best so far. Progress has felt slower as of late but I’m still noticing the improvements.

Pages 4-6. I’m getting some level of muscle memory and tails are somewhat becoming easier to understand. Head shape is changing a lot until I find something I’m happy with.

Got to see my first comet tonight! This is C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS) as seen from the Berkeley Hills. It was quite dim but I got a few decent pictures using long exposure shots.

I seem to be getting better at catching hummingbirds that keep ending up inside at mom’s place. They’re fine, they were just a bit scared because they couldn’t figure out how to go through the window. These are 2 of the 3 I had to catch and release outside.
