That's what I mean by the same idea. I would immediately be suspicious they're stealing.

Taking into consideration how long we took to make them distinct and stand out, I would be better surprised someone had the exact same idea. I would still be very insulted if they were turned straight.

With the shift of the EU and Europe to the right, it's not surprising they bend to him faster than I can post this online.

I'll only complain if they make them straight

(This is not an endorsement)

I know very well many would call a person like that a coward and pathetic but that's part of the point as well. If you see a victim and because they present as masculine they're pathetic for falling into the same lies as other humans you're victim blaming. You're unable to even have sympathy for them

I wanted very much to create a male Rose Bride, a man who could be foundly remember as pure and beautiful, but whose actions tell a tale of abuse and pain that is both invisible and surprisingly obvious, putting this a male body and hoping that people will have empathy.

That's where is other main inspiration comes in, Anthy Himemiya. Pain is a forever scar, but abuse is something you can/may be able to leave, with the help of others, by reclaiming yourself, your body and your sexuality.

That's something I don't think people understand very well or at all. Even when you're happy and it may seem that you have forgotten your pain, the pain is still there and will creep in. For the main character, En, this is a learning and development moment, understanding that pain is a forever scar.

When Twin Peaks starts, she is dead. She doesn't have the opportunity to be happy and free. But I also want to make sure that people understand that love doesn't conquer all. Not even to me, someone who relies on it to have a reason. Even when Ambrose finds it, the pain doesn't leave.

It is a very feminine or feminine assigned pain in a masculine body, a purposeful choice made to show not that just anyone can be a victim of pain, but create empathy to a victim of pain. I'm always afraid of during this into a love conquers all kind of story. Laura did not have that opportunity.

He is actually inspired by a lot of characters from media I've consumed in my life. But not the characters you're expecting. A lot of his inspiration comes from Laura Palmer from Twin Peaks, a victim of abuse who has been failed by those who should be protecting her.
