Big update from the Buffer team 🎉

You can now reply to comments directly within Buffer, for Bluesky, LinkedIn, Threads, Facebook, Instagram, and X.

No more switching between apps to engage with your audience. It’s live on web, iOS, and Android, and available on every plan (even free).

Dual Knit Band is way more comfortable.

The Apple Store app suggested Medium when I ordered. Later scans said Large, but thankfully Medium fits perfectly.

Wore the it for a good number of hours while working today, definitely a worthwhile upgrade for the M2 Vision Pro.

Been meaning to add support for buying @alpenglowapp.com Pro online for a while. Made good progress last night setting up @revenuecat.com's SDK.

If you open the App Switcher, then swipe up to close Buffer. Then re-open it should show up.

Think iPod Touch is stuck at iOS 15. In theory if you can get to that screen it should be able to access your existing account but it’ll not have many of the new features in v14/v15.

Was playing around with an even older version of the app a few weeks ago.

Very odd. It should be listed under available apps if it’s not installed already. 🤔

We didn’t have a designer for that first version so it was me and Photoshop. Each channel was a page in a paged scroll view, so to switch channel you had to swipe left/right a bunch to get to the one you wanted. 🫠

So much cleaner nowadays. 😂

Only one left to go. 😅

Buffer v15.0 is all bundled up and submitted. Now to breathe and also cross fingers.

Need to tackle @alpenglowapp next. 🤪

I've been giving @buffer.com a little visual refresh this past week. Paired with iOS 26's Liquid Glass its feeling like a brand new app. #ios26 #ios

Still a bit rough around the edges, but starting to sprinkle a little more fun into the @buffer.com iOS app ✨

Doing some experimenting with glass and SwiftUI lists to see how performant they are now.

Found Odwalla. So it's time to watch WWDC sessions like it's 2016. #WWDC #IYKYK

We plan to shift tabs within @buffer.com to the top with a compose button in the bottom right soon.

With iOS 26, I wonder if the tabs at the bottom with a Compose button alongside would be easier to use. Keep in mind that Apple will refine the glass effects during the beta.

Ready for WWDC. Pretty sure Watson will be asleep by the time it kicks off.

If you’re at the @revenuecat.com bashcade, say hi and grab an @alpenglowapp.com pin.

I joined @buffer.com 13 years ago today, which coincides with a significant milestone for the company: This week, we hit a new all-time high ARR of $22,395,427, surpassing our previous peak five years ago.

Made a little plugin to show @revenuecat.com data on my @usetrmnl.com display.

Showing fake numbers right now but I plan on being more transparent about them soon. 👀

Alpenglow for TRMNL js taking shape.
May 6, 2025 at 5:54 AM
Easing back into code after the @buffer.com retreat last week. Got a bunch of @usetrmnl.com recipes built out for @f1calendar.com and our other Motorsport calendars.

Now finishing up a @alpenglowapp.com plugin.

Deployed something new to the @alpenglowapp.com backend.

Now time to get some sleep, tomorrow I’m getting the iPad photobooth printing via SFTP ready for the @buffer.com retreat.

I've wanted to bring more in-depth Shortcut options to @buffer.com, supporting the specific fields for each network. With our new public API on the horizon, I've been testing a few new endpoints early, which are making this a reality even easier to implement.

Hopefully get this out soon! 😍
