Last week staff literally told me to call back in a week and check to make sure they ordered my replacement tire because, “[They] get really busy and [forget] about special-order tires frequently”. I had to roll my eyes! Thankfully when I called today they ordered it and will replace tomorrow.

Interesting! I wonder if this is a generational/geographical thing? I’ve never called myself a “native” of anything having grown up on the West Coast. When asked I always say the city I was born in, not that I’m “native” to that city or the West Coast, etc.
