Close to 40 million now

What we need to light on fire are Trump’s tariffs...if we are going to talk about efficiency and worry about some solar paneled whatevers, let’s talk about the fact that as of March 31, Trump’s golfing has cost us approximately $26 million."

Let's hope this doesn't happen

Agree, politics can't be avoided when it so impacts our lives . This entire administration is a clown show and VERY dangerous.

Spot on ... Exactly

The fact that 90% do not even get what I'm talking about is just another reason why 90% fail to grow recurring revenue and their businesses in general. Most of the AV ecosystem remains behind and has been for not yrs, but decades !!

AI / Data collection of all kinds from Business Intelligence in operations- to support as in IT help Desk &monitoring the AV systems part on/ in/within the attack surface are ALL PLATFORMS AV integrators at the C level & below should STUDY & understand how they play a role in their bundles.
November 2, 2025 at 3:41 PM
AV integrators only need to understand how it helps their clients productivity and be selling those platforms to them from meeting rooms to signage to environmental controls
November 2, 2025 at 1:23 PM
Integrators should explore software platforms that might appear asymmetric to bundle with what should be their monitoring packages now. AI help desk is one of hundreds as are Bus. Intelligence platforms and sensors

Great question.... I'd love to read these answers

Well, I've been "out" of the ecosystem for some time but historically speaking - Absolutely YES . I spun off a TV production co. & built many TV studios / mobile production vans. As EIR in IT- Yes again full networks/ wifi & data centers.

You can be on it everyday without being there. Having the complete Gantt one can determine when on sites are critical. Once assign a project, the PM OWNS the job, they must manage their time correctly and Directors and C levels must not stack 11 projects at z time to any one PM
October 27, 2025 at 10:39 PM
My goodness, so little has changed, AV should be engaged at the beginning of construction modifying Gantt charts & communicating changes to that time line in the trailer. We wear the same construction hard hat & we must be active and document and verbally communicate. AV/ PMs are vital to success.
October 26, 2025 at 4:28 PM
Because the AV integrator doesnt push back early when others fall behind. Great SOWs & T&C w delays Every day of others delay=3 days by AV contractor. The AV integrator has ALWAYS been in the construction business or so I treated it in the 80's. Gantt chats absolutely required & exposed at kicksoffs
October 26, 2025 at 4:24 PM
AV remains a disrespected trade & is often treated as an afterthought. This changes when an AV integrator enters the conversation early in the room design & client consultation.AV should be involved from the get go, realists timelines must be exposed in external kickoffs w clients before work starts

Good old fashion good communication ( talking & on site observation) excellent documentation of WIP, and with IT good cable pull schedules with engineering drawings that have properly coded IT standards adaptation
October 26, 2025 at 4:14 PM
Today's Gant chart model seems fine to me,sure better updatable platforms for adjustment, but it is hard to predict work timelines of "others".Good PMs must adapt as a result as construction rarely ever goes as planned. Inserting AV as we do remains from my lens good old fashion construction smarts.

Trump breaks all laws , no action because the entire GOP are his pawns

Aptitude & Attitude. Also the ability to discuss one's scars and challenges before, during and today's lessons in relation to those experiences.

Yes

What does one say to that except it is true and again it's the CEO's responsibility. First it remains the top priority of the CEO to build a successful and PROFITABLE organization. Such allows better wages that the AV sector suffers from providing along with training toward other challenges.
October 19, 2025 at 2:29 PM
The culture is the CEO's responsibility. Start there !
October 19, 2025 at 2:12 PM
Agree that ads are outdated, but it's not uncommon other sectors.Perhaps in AV(that seems less glamorous) could focus on the great new opportunities & building sizzle of XYZ solution "Be part of it- we will train you" Clearly I do not see enough cross pollination with other trades especially PM's.
