there is also another smaller lake near Lake Tahoe called Fallen Leaf Lake that has whole preserved upright underwater trees in it, it's basically an underwater forest. it's completely in california though 💔

i actually didn't know this til a couple years ago but lake tahoe is actually like 1,644' deep at some parts meaning it's deep enough to fit the height of the empire state building. scary asf to me

sheezy art is an awesome site otherwise so i didnt mean to sound like a hater LOL but i do kind of wish there was a way for people to get their art seen other than uploading at the exact right time and praying it catches on

I mean the result is that most of my friends who post on it have given up as they get no engagement on their art. I understand the human centric part but I don't understand why having an undiscovered section in addition to the existing ones would hurt anybody

like i understand algorithms can disadvantage some but like why not just keep the new and trending this month sections and also add a section where you have a chance in hell for someone to see it even after it stops being new
