Who knows me better suggests that integrity, intellectual curiosity, analytical depth, pragmatism, and vision are my defining characteristics.

Socratic reasoning compels me to challenge assumptions, and uncover the deeper truths that shape our world.
Trump is recreating conditions for a 2008 like economic collapse. By 2026, anger will tip into majority status as living standards fall. They will try blame-shifting on immigrants, Democrats, or foreign scapegoats — but with all branches under GOP control now, credibility will collapse.

Trump and Congressional Republicans are making us angry. The damage they are doing to the economy will make things worse. This is my projection for how things will evolve. The anger will translate into voter support for Democrats.

(3/3) This is not a temporary shock. It is a chain reaction—driven by policy decisions that remove all stabilizers and add no compensating forces. The outcome is mathematically inevitable: recession first, then depression. The only question is how long until we admit we’ve crossed the Rubicon.

(2/3) Because the president can veto corrective legislation, reversing this decline requires a veto-proof majority—unlikely given current GOP alignment. Without bipartisan action, the economy remains locked into a negative reactivity cycle, contracting with each step.

(1/7) “Priorities for the People” isn’t just a slogan—it’s a call to act. Now is the moment to sharpen our message. Before campaign ads flood the airwaves, let’s speak clearly, directly, and strategically. Voters deserve to hear how we’ll put people first. Let’s begin now.

(1/6) Americans deserve a government that works for the people—not just the powerful. That’s why we’re building a clear, practical, and focused agenda to deliver real results if voters give us a majority in the House next year. This it’s about progress that touches lives, lowers costs.

Graphic from the study…

The “not in labor force” is an underreported category that has grown to exceed 100 million persons. You may have to use your imagination to reason through the problem. The root cause has not been studied. A major social transition/directional change occurred concurrent with the government changes.
April 20, 2025 at 2:43 PM
The Republican 1994 “Contract with America” upended our social welfare and economic structure. Did it work? This graphic shows the ratio of Americans “not in labor force” to the total population. What does it mean? The Republican policy forced workers out of the labor force, and they never returned.

(1/5) Trump’s MAGA agenda revives an ancient resentment. His base, convinced they’re entitled to dominate, blames minorities for economic woes. By dehumanizing and banning books, he fuels a toxic cult that longs for a time when blatant white supremacy was celebrated.

The Great Depression’s stock market collapse came to pass as a result of the cascading effects of export losses, which lowered corporate cash receipts. Trump has exposed us to the same precarious economic conditions.
April 5, 2025 at 2:40 AM
Great Depression was triggered by the economic impact of export losses. Herbert Hoover promised tariffs during his presidential campaign. Trade and industrial activity declined ahead of the stock market collapse. Now, Trump has created a similar, if not worse, toxic economic set up.
April 5, 2025 at 2:16 AM
Trump’s tariffs will repeat 1930’s deflationary collapse. Exports then were 6% of GDP; today, they’re 12%. Retaliation will destroy demand, jobs will vanish, and fiscal policy is tightening. The Fed can’t print demand. The real crisis isn’t inflation—it’s deflation.

Exports declined ahead of the stock market collapse.

(2/2) The devastating loss of exports, as foreign countries retaliated against our tariffs, produced a pernicious deflation.
March 22, 2025 at 12:20 AM
(2/2) The increased death/suicide rate started, sharply, in 1997. What happened on that year that could have precipitated the change? Gingrich’s “Welfare Reform.” It destroyed the safety net that offered social stability, and damaged the psyche of white males.

Gingrich damaged his own tribe.
March 21, 2025 at 6:02 PM
(2/2) The 1929 Great Depression steady stock prices decline followed the steady loss of exports that came about when foreign countries retaliated against the Republican imposed import tariffs. Sounds familiar?

The exports and stock prices declines were lengthy and punishing.
March 21, 2025 at 5:33 PM
Observe how in 1929, the loss of exports came first, followed by decline in economic activity, which in short order created unemployment. The table is set up for a replay of an almost identical scenario.
