Wondering if anyone can think of example pixel games where the melee weapon swings don't have hand drawn motion blur (e.g. you see individual frames instead of a big white crescent showing where the sword went).
IIRC FFVI had sword attacks like this. Maybe LTTP?

My wife occasionally buys me classic comics because she wants me to be like the Big Bang Theory characters. I'm lowkey obsessed with this panel from a 1984 issue of Namor the Sub-Mariner where he thinks he just got laid by Sue Richards.

We took Alastair to Magic Mountain on Thursday. It's better than Knottsberry Farm in that they didn't outright forbid us from going on rides, but I think that's mostly because it's staffed by teenagers. Alastair rode Goliath, a super intense ride, but was forbidden the mellow swinging ship ride.
