Sometimes I want to go back and just log back in. But it's infested with AI shit and the audience in general has also changed. I'm browsing the front page and the comments are generic, like the type of emptiness you get from Instagram and bots.
The whole culture of critique has vanished.

I really miss when dA was about building yourself as an artist first so you can focus on the art you like instead of the art that other people like. I also loved the gallery organization that let you group your work into categories so it's easier for viewers to browse in your own curated collection.

You can still do that now, but it's less enriching cuz people will scroll through your works, and you get a Like if you're lucky. It's rare to get a comment that values what you did.
So social media artists are easier to convince to hop in to trends for engagement bait.

Angela's familiarity in flavors is so neat to see. She's pretty cool when she's in this show.
