I loved doing video editing in blender. My only issue was with the speed modifier. It wasn’t intuitive at all and a pain to make shots with different speed because the change in length doesn’t show in the sequencer. A shot sped up to 3 seconds will still look like a 10 seconds shot

Mech are also something I plan to do in 3d someday and maybe make a film about them

I don't do 3d printing but I do 3d model. The best way to learn is either follow along a tutorial to get a grasp on Blender interface and learn a workflow, then try to model simple objects. You can try modeling everyday objects like mugs, a laptop, etc.

I chuckled. Can relate when I'm looking up things for modeling.
