Montagfrüh war es so weit: Elch Emil musste betäubt werden, weil er bei Sattledt (Bezirk Wels-Land) im Begriff war, über den Zaun Richtung Westautobahn (A1) zu springen. Knapp bevor der Frühverkehr beim Voralpenkreuz einsetzte, war Emil nur noch 200 Meter vor der A1 entfernt. Später wurde er nahe der Grenze zu Tschechien ausgesetzt.
