My deadblow mallet. I watched Steve Ramsey make one and decided it was the perfect project for some scrap oak I had.

A week ago I finished my first large #woodworking project. It’s a combined cabinet & custom PC case. I learned a lot while making it & it’s encouraged me to continue being a #maker. I’ll post a making-of video, but for now here’s a sneak peak.

Back of a cabinet made on a #cnc at the local #makerspace. The rest will be done on a table saw soon. #woodworking

Before a larger #woodworking project I made a practise box. It’s treated with hard wax oil now. It was good to refresh my miter-skills and made me realise how easily the veneered plywood frays. I’m taping for all cuts and rounding them with sandpaper after. Any other suggestions to prevent fraying?

Small tables a great way to play with design. This is my Yuki No Hanna (snow's flower) Table. This is the 1st in a series of posts on various tables I have designed and built.

The 3D printed adapter on the makerspace table saw kept breaking due to collision with the wall when the blade was at 45 degrees. Instead I removed some wire from the hose and clamped it in place. Hopefully it lasts longer. #woodworking #makerspace

Hello #woodworking. I have some 19mm veneered plywood for a little cabinet. The pieces are approx 740mm on the long end and will turn down to 640. They are slightly bowed, 1.41mm from being flat. What's the best way to flatten and store them? Dampen and dry with spacers for air and with weights on?

In the next few weeks I'll be attempting to build a cabinet with miters for the first time. What would be the top tips from the Bluesky #woodworking community? I've bought a level box and a table saw gauge to hopefully help me make the correct cuts.
