Not as a member of either of the 2 major parties. The GQP for obvious reasons, and the Dems because the party is captive to the donor class, which will squelch the fundamental reforms this country needs, e.g., overturning Citizens United with a Constitutional amendment.

Just that pesky little clause in the NATO rules about countries at war not being able to join. Even after Ukraine wins (assuming the EU’s pledge of 95 bn. Euros is legit), Russia will eventually attack Ukraine again, so NATO might not want a member that will trigger an article 5 response.

Not as part of the 2 major parties. They both rotten at the top, and their funders are complicit in the rot. Look how little influence the remainder of "The Squad" has and how easily some of them were primaried. The federal legislature is no place for a progressive.

Unalive them on pay-per-view, with proceeds going to rebuild US AID.

Execute them all by guillotine on pay-per-view, with proceeds going to re-build US AID.

That’s why the GQP will pass the SAVE act.

Whom do you think is driving the sixth mass extinction of the planet - subsistence farmers in Uganda?
February 7, 2026 at 8:05 AM
The "90% marginal tax rate" canard must die. The reason the U.S. was so prosperous after WW II was because the industrial capacity of Europe had been destroyed, and that of Japan, China, and SE Asia hadn't yet been built. The U.S. was the world's factory.

For example, we're in a "methane warming crisis" now. It's not because of increased methane releases, though: climatecasino.net/2022/07/is-t...
Is the Methane Catastrophe Happening Right Now?
Methane (CH₄) has been in the news a lot lately, mostly because the monthly numbers released by NOAA  continue to skyrocket into record territory, while simultaneously increasing year-over-year by rec...

no economic system could save us. Because of Jevon's paradox, the more efficient our economic systems become, the more resources we consume. If you pay attention to the statistical data from the natural world, it's clear that no one escapes the ongoing sixth, mass extinction.

I'm with George Tsakralides on this issue. Humanity's entire history has been one of exploiting and extraction from nature. On a small scale, this was tolerable. After the global population passed the planet's carrying capacity (scientists estimate it to be about 2 bn.), though, (1/2)

I must give credit where credit is due. These are the words of George Tsakralides, whom you can find on substack. Be warned, however, that this quote from him is the most optimistic thing he's written.

What effects of loud resistance can you point to in MN? A reduction in ICE forces from 3,000 to 2,300? ICE is still planning on reopening a 1,600-person detention center in Appleton and building a new detention center in Woodbury. There are daily lists of ICE raids: www.yahoo.com/news/article...

If your strategy to win constantly relies on overwhelming margins of victory that can't be denied, then the regime will simply interfere with elections to deny those results. That's what happened in 2016 and 2024, so it will likely happen again.

Given the slow (but accelerating) sixth mass extinction of the planet, I welcome any and all accelerationist measures.

Lovely. Now, who's enforcing his judgments? Oh, that's right, the regime's DOJ.
February 6, 2026 at 7:09 PM
What is Coons' method of fighting - more strongly-worded letters? Voting to not fund DHS, when the Treasury is controlled by the regime? If Coons' wants to be useful, he needs to find and participate in methods of resistance with tools Democrats control directly.

Citizens United shows the linkage between economic systems and political ones. We must replace large-scale capitalism, because it's predatory: it monetizes the misfortune of those with less mental and physical capital, to boost the fortunes of those who already possess it in abundance.

but this isn't like the Civil Rights movement, where Bull Connor's K-9 attacks at the Edmund Pettus Bridge spurs an attack of conscience in all of the country and our nation's officials. This is a time for what activists call "monkeywrenching," small individual acts that foul the workings (2/3)
