Another couple of housemates that share my office/studio. The top photo is Penelope and the bottom is Marmalade. There’s 2 more, Queso and Mushu.

Our 2024 was a year of much change, and the catastrophic effects of Helene. Still we found lots of beauty, and time with family and friends. 2025 promises challenges, but I am hopeful that we can fight the good fight and find beauty in nature and our tiny farm.

I have 18 chickens, 16 hens and 2 roosters. This is Jonathan Harker. I’ll post some more chicken pics soon. Lucy and Mina can be seen in the lower right corner though!

Not an original idea, but I’ve really enjoyed making these Christmas Spiders for family and friends.

I’m a lifelong WNC resident, who absolutely loves these Appalachian mountains. I have a small hobby farm, with chickens and bobwhite quail, I grow as much as I can, and I’m a water color artist, with my preferred subject matter being the flora and fauna of these mountains. Just wanted to say ‘hi’.
