flâneur: indulging in the idle joy of wandering aimlessly through winding urban streets

Love everything about Lancaster living. I’m on the City Planning Commission and always looking for the best in cities.
Blending the old with the new.

Making huge strides at the Catherine Hershey Early Childhood Education Center on Walnut and Plum. Great adaptive reuse ♻️

Perhaps a not so crazy idea…
Can we build hydroponic farms adjacent or on top of AI data centers?

I woke up thinking…Maybe I’ll be a lumberjack for Halloween. Please don’t call me a 2012 worship leader. #IYKYK

Not every residential build needs to be sexy. Just give me clean lines, density, and an abundance of amenities.

What was formerly a garage will soon provide housing and there will be plenty of room to park two cars.

More of this in Lancaster please! #ADU

49, but I’ll be 50 this month. Do you all think the beard ages me as much?

Another early morning ride fueled by Copper Cup 🚴
I applaud my brothers for skipping the drive-thru line and grabbing a drink together 😊

The project follows the 2023 completion of a neighboring 165-bed transitional housing facility on Grove Street, developed in partnership with the Archdiocese of Newark and Catholic Charities, to preserve and expand the longstanding St. Lucy’s Homeless Shelter.

Is this a normal thing to do? I would say that the grassy area at Ewell Plaza in Lancaster has been fenced for most of the season.
Is this because of the beer garden or fear of grass being trampled?

Looking forward to a robust dialogue between my colleagues in the Planning Commission and the developers of Sycamore Ridge, as well as public commentary concerning the proposed 79-unit housing community within an eco district on the Sunnyside peninsula.

But first… Chai from Square One ☺️

Met up with our daughter in NYC. When my wife and her took in a show… I took a walk with stops at 270 Park Ave, Grand Central Station, The New York Public Library, and of course, Times Square.

Taking in the scene at Lancaster’s Central Market on a busy and beautiful Friday.

I love seeing all the people: young and old, travelers and local… with baskets full of produce, parking their bikes, children hand in hand, maybe sitting for an iced coffee.

I wish every day could be a Market Day.

I cannot find much fault in what they propose, but you really need to extend that map north to those pointless surface parking lots behind Neptune Diner. They were part of nearly every study over the last two decades.
