This is literally a thing in baldur's gate 3 funnily enough. In a karlach romance scene in act 3 the game uses a half orc NPC named Henk. However if Henk is killed beforehand, the game uses a nearly identical Half Orc named Honk who only exists if Henk dies.

He has strong kamala energy, in the sense that he would be the first to drop out of the primary, get picked for VP anyways, do absolutely nothing with it and only be used as a scapegoat/sacrifice for the administration's failings

and unfortunately all the ARR stuff becomes most interesting in hindsight, once you can appreciate how they used the foundation ARR builds. It requires a lot of buy in and doesn't do a good job of convincing you that the buy in required is worth it
