Are you actually this dense, or are you just being an ass? At this point I really can’t tell.

Yes, that is how lawsuits work. You think someone did something actionable to you, and then you file suit and either prove they did that thing in court and win, or fail to prove it and lose.

Probably Tengen, in the dispute over their cloned NES lockout chips they used in their unauthorized games. Technically they limped along for a while after that, but they got absorbed by Time Warner a few years later.

I’m thinking they’re more afraid of Nintendo. The Big N is notoriously litigious and they tend to win their cases. Wouldn’t be the first time they buried a company they thought had stolen their IP.

Fortunately, none of the would-be Hitlers behind Trump actually have Hitler’s tenacity or experience in dealing with hardship. It’s a small mercy, but it may be a saving grace for all of us.

I was just talking about this with someone yesterday. Say what you will about Hitler, the man fought in the most brutal war in human history. He faced actual adversity in his life, which gave him a dangerous tenacity that Trump’s soft self simply lacks.

Really disappointed by some of the names I’m seeing listed among the performers.

More proof that capitalism is a dumb, self-cannibalizing system. Because they’ve spent the better part of a century trying to remove the safeguards that protected them.

More importantly, I wonder if the active military will behave the same way, or if they’ll see they’re only a few years or an injury away from being on the other side of the line.

The politics of Starship Troopers (the Heinlein novel, not the Verhoeven satire) is largely trash, but it did make one good point that everyone should keep in mind; Democracy is a substitute for violence. It lets us oust leaders without killing them. And fascists want to remove thar safety valve.

Tell me what, exactly, has our country done to make good on our genocide of Native nations and the theft of their land?
March 27, 2025 at 3:27 PM
That explains it.

I was genuinely curious if he could get the definition remotely right, or if he was just repeating it like a toddler trying to sound like a big boy.

I think the DNC must have put out a “word of the day” calendar and “tankie” was used in it a few months ago.
March 27, 2025 at 3:16 PM
So you’re just a moron.

Welcome to the block list, shitlib. You’re in terrible company.
March 27, 2025 at 3:14 PM
Define “Tankie” for me.

I’m curious if a single shitlib can actually get this right. Because so far every one I’ve asked is just parroting a word they’ve heard, like MAGA abusing “woke.”

Citizens United was already the reality. Otherwise we’d have a functional Democratic Party and Elon Musk wouldn’t be doing cartwheels through our government infrastructure.

What world have you been living in for the last thirty years that you don’t get this?

Steam still cleans everyone else’s clocks when it comes to this. Family Sharing is such a convenient feature. The only real downside is the few companies that don’t allow it for their games, but it’s a surprisingly small percentage in my experience.

How is the USA second on that list? We don’t have universal healthcare, TANF (our welfare program) has a lifetime limit of 60 months and the income requirements for food stamps are insane.

It makes me wonder how the graph’s source arrived at those figures.

Honestly, I don’t know how Bruce remains a billionaire, because it’s explicitly shown that he gives huge amounts of money to charity, he’s rebuilt Gotham multiple times after disasters at this point, and he does compensate his workers well. He could still be wealthy, but not ten figures wealthy.
March 26, 2025 at 2:00 AM
Honestly, I could see “speed” sticking around as slang for amphetamine for a long time, because it’s lasted the better part of a century at this point. Drug slang evolves a lot and quickly, but speed is one that’s hung around for whatever reason.

I have to admit, I did not have “rebirth of the British Empire” on my list of predictions for 2025,
March 21, 2025 at 6:56 PM
These morons will never learn, no matter what happens. They’ll go to one of RFK Jr.’s “wellness farms” still denying that any of this is their fault.
