The end of the last tube I had stashed away years ago. L'annine went dark probably 5+ years ago and I have yet to find a replacement. Smooth and silky, not greasy or tacky like most. Those of us who are frequent hand washers know that this time of year results in cracked and bleeding skin.

Miscellaneous boat chores done for the day. Stopping for a traditional end-of-day Hot & Dirty at Hobbs. Yes. It’s been one of *those* seasons. Long deferred by multiple POs ( boat speak for “prior owners”). Maintenance on the hard. Many B.O.A.T. units being expensed this season.

What causes one to drink one asks? Many things, actually.. Some, in no particular order of irritation, are: TÜV SÜD, other Notified Bodies (an oxymoron if there ever was one), and Tuesdays that act like Mondays. Oh and it’s takeout Tuesday.

Snagged some wild caught King salmon this afternoon. Using a NYT Cooking marinade (turmeric, garlic, red pepper flakes, honey, mayonnaise, and lemon zest) over jasmine rice with dill.
