I think saying they're just louder than they used to be is reductive. I think divorce rates and income being what they are, parents simply don't have the time to be role models for their kids like they used to. So young boys are seduced by Petersons, Tates and Rogans as they seek male guidance.

That kind of cognitive dissonance is necessary for fascism to flourish. In the fascist mind, Trump can both lay it out like it is, but he also didn't mean it exactly how it sounded.
