Going through a good workflow thing right now - the kind of freelance work schedule that I've always thought about implementing but never got around to doing. I'll see how it works in the long-run, though.

Just came back from a walk. Thinking about those in Canada during these wildfires. It's hard to breathe in the Twin Cities. I can only imagine how it is for our northern neighbors.

If you catch yourself getting lost in the details about what your "brand" should be (and everyone has a brand...EVERYONE), take a step back and think about your story.
That's what people really care about. Who are you? How can we emotionally connect with you?

there is no universal secret to creating. do what works for you. manifest those vibes. make a playlist. daydream. whatever. creating is tough enough. don't make it harder by forcing yourself into a method just because it works for someone else. just write. just draw. do you. you're doing great.
