Right? Your opinion of me is entirely Your Problem to navigate. Best of luck. 💋

Oh, thanks for sharing! I love combing through work from older illustrators. I’ll look him up. Regardless, a great subject. I love that the witch is so full of glee and not traditionally ‘pretty’ for the male gaze.

I love her! What a great character design.

Magical. Wish I was there. So much moss.

I think those are really the only tools available to promote sanity. It’d be neat if someone aggregated a list of suggested mutable words.

You could try muting key words or make a curated feed that excludes the firehose of political posts. Bluesky specifically allows for both.

But that’s besides the point, really. The suggestion was given in earnest. Picking something as small as volunteering in your community is proven to help you reclaim a sense of agency and reduce stress. Any act of service is resisting.

If writing a representative doesn’t feel productive, you can find lists online full of excellent ideas. Perhaps pick one that resonates with you?

-Only- individuals can stop this. We each are responsible for our choice between silence and complacency, or action and advocacy.
February 3, 2025 at 7:38 AM
Oh, definitely friend. There’s no need to marinate in it all. Picking one thing to actually do to resist will be an additional help to your sanity, though! ♥️

I find selecting one actionable good thing thing helps. Write one representative, make one donation, volunteer. Picking an action helps you make space for the amount that you cannot address.

If we all do what we can before mindfully tapping out, we can make a dent without burning out.

Same, friend. I’m feeling disheartened by all the people I know that are in a place of privilege to make these changes but can’t give up the convenience. 😕

Wow, those are lovely! I murdered my redwood bonsai by accident. I need to give it another go.
February 2, 2025 at 6:41 PM
Doesn't sound worth the mineral deposits, honestly. What are your largest bonsai?
February 1, 2025 at 7:05 PM
I don’t struggle with mineral deposits much, as we have very soft water with a potassium additive.♥️ I wish I had bonsai too large to soak!

Fair enough. ♥️

Unfortunately I think you spelled the phrase ’was a woman’ wrong.

And let those things be how you fuel yourself to take positive ACTION for good! We can make a difference without burning out.

Have… have you seen what they do with crosses in scary movies? And what priests and nuns are like in spooky films? 😱

In real life I’d run to someone with a tattoo of a pentagram for help rather than a person wearing a cross or sporting the cloth every time.

I love it. It’d be cool to see a series of macabre/cute wormfood animals.
