if anybody has gotten a faster time achieving the hypervisor exploit let me know, otherwise I'm claiming this as the current record time

The search is over - I now have the Guitar Hero 1 retail demo disc SLUS-29177 in my possession. This disc is nearly 20 years old and we have NEVER seen anything about it online... UNTIL NOW!

I will be going live at 5:00 pm CST to play through it and tell the story of this disc.

Update on the GH 4.3 disc: The goat @invoxiplaygames.uk programmed a tool specifically to get data off of this disc (first pic), and she was able to extract all of the audio files from it! From there, @localh.milohax.org used Onyx CLI toolkit to decrypt the files and made them listenable.

also got a Pre-Alpha Guitar Hero Van Halen disc alongside the Guitar Hero 6 prototype, but unfortunately this disc is not readable.

I did some data recovery methods, and while it's still not bootable, I found references to 3 cut songs:

I have acquired an extremely early build of Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock, dated Dec 1, 2009; almost 10 months before the final game released.

Resorting to untraditional methods to clean Xbox 360 shells in bulk. Will update in about an hour to see if it was a success or if I have a dishwasher full of melted plastic

Spent most of today editing NINE HOURS of footage from when I built @steedoodles.bsky.social his 10 fret LP. I recorded the entire process, start to finish, and the final product is approximately 45 minutes of important stuff. Gonna try to cut together a shorter version that's more watchable lmao
