MyMiniFactory is raising funds for a new open-source, AI-free resin slicer. There's a ton of options for FDM printers, but the landscape of resin slicers is still pretty thin, and with Lychee getting more bloated and a $100/year subscription, a new community built option would be a huge benefit […]

Cleaning out my Downloads folder, and found this gem. Not sure where it came from, or why I downloaded it. But I'm posting it here solely so I can delete it.

The winning words on my xmas stocking lottery ticket are "why play you old." And that feels pretty rude. I'll still collect the five bucks though.

Most no longer even understand that media like websites or podcasts being decentralized, is fundamentally different than a service like YouTube giving you an account, right? We've gotta find a way to tell that story once again if we want people to be excited about #mastodon, #pixelfed, #peertube […]

The MicroProse B-17G Flying Fortress for #msfs2024 is out of preview now, and the 1.0 version looks very nice. Here's a photo of the real Sentimental Journey I took in 2012, and the model in the simulator.

Setting up step-and-repeat page layouts for efficient finish trimming has always been a fun activity for me. Not sure why I take pleasure in manual imposition work that I'm sure many would find tedious, just to save a few cuts later.

Put on a lofi playlist and, after a few tracks, I found myself bopping my head to a familiar diddy. Took me a moment to place it before… oh it's the Scooby Doo theme! They can make lofi covers of anything I guess.

Apple Music Sample […]

This is a fun new #macos bug. Mission Control / Expose view shrinks windows down to a single pixel each. But only on one space at a time. Other spaces are fine. If I delete the affected space, then the issue migrates to another single space that was previously fine.

Second Thanksgiving in a row where the #traeger smoker app is down. 🙄
Not a huge deal since the grill works from the front panel and doesn't need the app for the important stuff. But still…
