I don't remember which game it was exactly but at some point, The Pokémon Company stopped showing off a lot of the pokédex in the preview material, mostly just the Starters and some one-offs here and there. A majority of the Pokémon that showed up in Scarlet and Violet were surprises.

I only see Orange and Pineapple nowadays. I miss the Watermelon one

genuinely one of the most beautiful pieces of art in the manga industry. I'm so nervous for the anime because I can't imagine it reaching the heights of the manga
