All my favourite Late-Antique and Medieval cities in-one. And from the African Red Sea, of course it is Adulis, the marvel city that carried one of the greatest empires of the Classical-Late Antique World: Aksum. From my visit to the Silk Roads exhibition at the British Museum last week!
