So excited about doing this online discussion about what it’s like to have spent over 50 years working together as artists. We’re going to gossip about the arts, maneuvering around each other in the kitchen, and maybe share some recipes…

Out with Tim Wynne-Jones as he visits schools in the Ottawa area. Great that he can bring King of the Dump to Kindergarten classes as part of Ottawa Writers Festival! @groundwoodbooks.bsky.social

So thrilled with this interview in CBI! Joyce Sidman is a huge inspiration to me and I can’t believe we’ve been interviewed for the same article. Check it out at Children’s Book Insider. Only $1 to join, a bargain! @writeforkids.bsky.social @kidscanpress.bsky.social

On December 8, in 1894, James Thurber was born. I grew up reading Thurber. I wish I could say that he turned me into a humorist, but sadly, no. I’m one of the least funny writers on the planet. But his sharp, eccentric characters have stayed with me always. Ta-pockita-pockita, Mr. Thurber!

Really exciting to see the results of the Lanark Literary Competition. I was a juror for the youth category. A privilege to read the works of such fine young writers!
