Sorry, the ousting/driving underground of the old Narnians happens during the Telmarine conquest.

Ram the Great of Archenland - and Queen Swanwhite II in Narnia (perhaps). 500 years - darkages-talking animals and magical creatures start to hide/driven underground - (see the plot of Wicked for similar idea) then the Telmarines conquer Narnia and Caspian dynasty begins (for about 300 years).

I noted the continued partial use in the new curriculum, of the ring design, the whakapapa of the Te Mātaiaho curriculum.
But, the whakarae mean specific things.
The outer rings represent the centrality of Te Tiritiy to the curriculum.
They're just using it as decoration.

(Note - they also have Matariki in y8). I don't think they've really thought about the concept of a spiral science curriculum. I am reviewing it fully over the next month. It reminds me a lot of the England curriculum in 2014, but even less well planned.
