Reporters say that Jalen was meh. Maybe it was the presence of MICAH FUCKING PARSONS! And when it isn’t Parsons, it’s Chris Jones or Nik Bonitto or Jared Verse.
The point being that good offenses look so-so against great defenses!
And yet the #Eagles keep winning.

Love you Dave, but Negadelphia has infected your mind. Zero sacks means the offensive line gets a B plus at least.

Does the DSM describe a mental disorder where the afflicted can experience no joy unless they dominate every encounter?
If so, Eagles fans have that ailment! Philadelphia sports writers as well!

You can’t choose your relatives, but always worth recalling that Bessent is the nephew of one of the ABSCAM defendants.

People on BlueSky trash the NYT, sometimes with good reason, but the paper deserves credit for reporting on this criminal, sadistic denial of human rights.

See, I’m wondering if they’re planning on using Willie in creative ways, either as a back or when they need the linemen to pull. Jurgens’ injury has really limited their ability to run such plays.
I still have high hopes for Kendall, but I don’t think he can play guard yet.

It’s just like when people suggest the Democrats have become more conservative since 1968, ignoring their positions on women’s rights, gay rights, healthcare, and most especially war.

Yes, but it rose at the same rate as everything else affected by Baumol’s cost disease.
And, in fairness, people do complain about the price of medical and child care. But the complaints are different because of the factors I mentioned.

Yes, but that was true of every industry afflicted with Baumol’s cost disease. The cost of health care and pre-school saw identical increases in the same period.

It’s rational. Schools give discounts to kids with high SAT/ACT scores to keep their class averages high for the US News rankings. High rankings draw students willing to pay full freight.
Likewise, Early Decision exists so schools can get half their class to commit to paying full tuition.

IMHO, two things cause complaining about tuition:
1) The parent usually pays, but the kid gets the benefits.
2) There’s no insurance hiding the price. A minor medical procedure costs more than a year at SUNY. But few people write a check for the whole cost of an operation.

Oh! I detest him!
I just find it funny that the most irritating, narcissistic hustler happens to be an SU faculty brat.

Not to be presumptuous, Mary, but I just sent you a paper that might interest you and Reva. It’s about people’s struggles to obtain certificates stating their sex in the 19th c. Feel free to ignore.
