A white albino red tail hawk was in the trees on the back of our land. Powerful medicine!

I cannot believe the idiocy of defunding PBS. Sigh. We just added this t-shirt to our collection and sheesh is it needed!

Women’s Activism Cotton Tee - "Don’t Trash Early Childhood Education"
We are big fans of Sesame Street and are saddened that some can’t see the value of this iconic show or, for that matter, early childhood education. We want to live in a world where every child and par...

Like how this collage came out. It’s going to become a book cover, maybe tomorrow.

Haven’t been out on my favorite trail for a couple months between snow and health stuff. Went out this morning and look what was on the trail! Sat on my favorite log and sketched it. The beginning to a good day…

Blue moon cover paper collage. Thanks to my fellow artist Linda who gave me her left overs. Makes for a great collage.

I want to create snarky protest Tshirts. What’s your favorite quote or statement?

Practicing my calligraphy. Haven’t done so in a while and it felt good to free hand some letterforms.

Touch the earth and she will touch you back. I decided this quote needed to be the nature journal I created. A reminder and an inspiration.

My snowy day project. Over a foot of snow already and more tonight.

Garden of Hope is my latest creation. It’s what is called a flag book. This one is still a prototype. Getting the measurements just so. Painting and cutting out each flag. It’s lots of creative work. I can see what I’d do differently next time, yet I like how this one came out.

In these days of increasing repression I find I must create. New project underway. It’s going to be a garden when I’m done. One of beauty and harmony. Stay tuned…

I’ve been experimenting with creating dolls from recycled things. These are all in progress. I’m calling them the Alien Doll series.

For some reason Jail House Rock seemed like a good book to make right about now. 100 blank pages for you to fill with your musings. (Vegan hinge, not leather.)

The word ‘embroidered’ came up for me the last couple days. Then ‘obscured’ showed up. Appropriate given the noise this week. Time to rip away the false layers and search out the beauty and clarity of truth.

These jelly prints have become covers that will be melded with a book shortly. The pattern comes from seeds I scattered on the print surface.

Never underestimate the ability of assholes to overestimate themselves.

A quote from the sci-fi book I’m reading. Seems very appropriate.

Working on new cover paper for a book. Not sure yet what the text block page color will be but I’m really liking how this came out. Pink mountains yes!!

Today I began taking down the xmas lights. My mind wandered off while my hands wound up little LED lights. I deliberately chose the word plenty for my mind to ponder.
I've deliberate about the positive nature of my plenty. It helps keep me sane in these times of fear mongering by blatant idiots.

The paper on this one came out cool. It’s a jelly print that I misted a bit of water in before it dried. Lovely effects! Dark blue leather hinge, hard bound.

Love this quote. Good thoughts in weird times.

Really like how this travel journal came out. Jelly print over a Montana section map. Cut leather hinge. Globe. Treasure pockets. A good book to take wherever you wander.
