I was at this show. I remember the only acknowledgements of the day's events were the first opener (BTS guy) saying "some real fucked up shit happened today" before covering "Saturday Night Special" and the second opener (Delusions) thanking everyone for coming despite the circumstances.

Yeah, Mahall's is brutal too if it's a large crowd. I bailed four songs into The Julie Ruin show in 2016 because it was so hot.

There's no excuse for a brand new venue to have ventilation that poor. It was reminiscent of the old Grog Shop location. Also, by making the capacity 800, you guarantee that people will either be a) packed like sardines or b) will be forced to stand by the bar in order to get some elbow room.
