Power abuse and bullying behaviours are systemic issues in academia, and as such, they need to be discussed and addressed promptly. We strongly condemn such behaviours and encourage researchers to come forward to us if they witness or are victims of power abuse.

We are saddened by hearing about such behaviours, but unfortunately, not surprised. This is a widespread issue that also occurs in other institutes and universities, and that was repeatedly brought up in our mental health letter campaign from last summer. academicworkers.org/campaigns/me...
