The Democratic Party stopped pulling for the working class in the mid-90s, when the Clinton administration weighed in with the corporate class.
Serfs, I tell you. They've slowly reduced us to wage slaves. Done by squeezing those with the least power--the young, the working class, minorities. I cringe that those with educations and connections allowed this to happen. Collectively the ladders pulled up after boomers were comfortable.
