Ah yes nature sounds

Team Dark amplifies all these issues up to 11, team chaotix is just awful lol

It's incredibly clunky, levels are way too long, bosses aren't fun and take way too long, level design is poor with most obstacles just an excuse to push you into death pits

Pretty sure that's what Nintendo officially calls it too, so it has weight behind it.

I've never liked Sonic Heroes lol

Eh, I get why people are upset. Metroid is about isolation and you vs the planet. Marvel-esque wisecracking characters are kind of the antithesis of the mood and atmosphere of this type of game.

That being said, I do think he'll only be temporary during the tutorial section of the game.

We'll see. I don't really have any irl friends anymore, and idk if I want to go with my family.

Monochrome/black and white is always my aesthetic and naturally matches Absol so probably just go with that lol

I think my favorite thing though is how this game deceives you, lol. Right from the start.

Hell, even the trailers for it are deceiving you. While they are accurately describing the general plot synopsis of the game, they're also kind of not lol. I love that.

The "multi-genre adventure" gimmick I think works well and adds a nice twist to everything, even if they're kinda bare bones on their own at times.

Overall I give the game an 8.5 out of 10, definitely worth playing for fans of mysteries, adventure games/visual novels. Very deep narrative.

Some not so good things:

Localization is very shoddy. Plenty of spelling and grammatical errors, awkward sentence structures, some dialogue misattributed to characters, etc.

While the characters are all pretty good, some of them don't have quite as much depth as I was expecting.

Yeah in Three Houses I only had characters be classes that fit their personality

I'm glad Engage had a more focused class system

Boomer can be used metaphorically too. It's a fitting word for people who are obstinate and averse to change, just like actual boomers.

Ohh, yeah I see. I've never played Pokemon like that personally, but I'd see why you'd prefer the turn based system then!

See, I'm fine with like, rescuing soldiers, helping them with a thing, we have a couple lines of dialogue, and that's it. Prime 3 did it just fine as well.

But having a guy making wisecracks all the time like he's a Marvel character is certainly a choice

It's also the closest we'll get to a Xenoblade like Pokémon game lol

It's probably also because the main game of ZA has some semblance of challenge to it

90% of the time in turn based Pokemon games, all you need to do is hit with super effective moves. Not counting competitive play.

But yeah I prefer the cool downs, makes me feel more like an active participant.

There's nothing to be gained from me, but I've seen it happen where some people only interact with replies to my posts, or my reposts and not my actual posts. Feels weird
