Trying to zoom in and catch the reg of this diversion into us today during the strong winds. It tried once at Heathrow, went around and then came to seek refuge at Gatwick.

And finally we get a lovely winter sunrise. Lots of de-icing needed across the airport today.
The sun is rising over Gatwick Airport, the orange hue is spread over the horizon with a few clouds in the sky. Planes are parked up at their stands waiting for the morning flights.
