I am deeply ashamed on behalf of Fr. Hesburgh's university.

You were brilliant and lovely. Thank you for allowing this Cityzen to tag along with you and my bride. See you next year at Bramley-Moore!

I hope that your commentary changes, for the sake of your listeners. But, alas, I won't be around to hear it. I wish you well. (end)

I listen to the Guardian Football Weekly instead. Yes, they are critical of what is happening to the PL, and City's part in this. But, that is not all they talk about. They are knowledgeable, and don't hold grudges. And, I'll happily give my money to them to be critical but still entertaining. (7/x)

If City goes down, they go down, and they will have deserved it. But, do I, as a supporter, deserve to listen to you treat my love of my team like garbage? Should I pay $400 for the privilege to listen to you denigrate my love? I've finally decided not to. (6x)

This is where I admit that I'm a Cityzen. I've followed City back when they were the plot point for "There's Only One Jimmy Grimble." I saw them fall, then rise, then fall again, then rise again. I just came back from Manchester, where I bought a vintage Claudio Reyna shirt for far too much. (5/x)

I get it. This is news, and people should be aware. But Good Christ, when that is the only thing that you apparently know about Manchester City, or Newcastle United, or any other club owned by a sovereign wealth fund, well, there is really no reason for me to listen. (4/x)

When you joined The Football Show, I was delighted. However, it only took a few months for that delight to sour, then turn to regret. TFS was the bright, optimistic counter to Grumpy Pundits. But, not for much longer. I can only take so much bitter commentary about FFP and APT and 115 charges (3/x)

I loved that car, and I loved listening to The Football Show. When you were on Grumpy Pundits, I truly enjoyed listening to you. I can't say that you brought a bright light to the GP, because that wasn't the point. It was to listen to grouchy experts who loved football, and I ate that up. (2/x)

Hi there, Tom. I wasn't going to put this here, but since SiriusXM won't let me tell them why I'm cancelling, I'm alas letting you know.

I've listened to The Football Show for 12 years when I bought my first new car. It was the first car that had anything newer than a cassette tape player. (1/x)

No class at all. Haaland is actually hurt.

Taylor Doose's only crime is loving Stars Hollow too much.

(well, that and his terrible toupee)

This tracks for San Antonio in the late 80s.

My apologies for being salty. It was hard to watch a well-fought match by Athletic Club (which you have honestly given praise to the last few seasons) and then the commentary on ESPN FC by Dan, Craig, and you be entirely about Mbappe. There's a good story being told by Los Leones that was missed!

Glad you liked it. Could you have said one word about Athletic Club in the commentary afterwards?
