Allies - YOU Volunteer. Put your being on the line for us. Actively speak up and out, legit stand on the front line, harbor people, give financial support. If your job or whatever keeps you from doing that - who owns you, who is making your choices?

Allies - If you want your at risk loved ones to know they are safe with you, to come to you when they are attacked, your energy is best directed listening and actively making the world safer for them - NOT making trite suggestions.

If the best support you can give is to say “Move” and/or “Volunteer” you might as well just spit on my face. It is the same action. I didn’t ask for it, it’s disrespectful. You are saying the filth projected onto me is mine alone to clean and you wipe your hands of it.

Do not deliver gotcha-esque pride when you tell me “move” or “volunteer” - like those are novel solutions or remedies, without risk, and not already considered or explored.

Discovering my allies have not considered their own action plan in worst case scenarios that affect themselves and/or their loved ones - and being told “move”, “volunteer”, or “pretend to be sisters/friends” - errods my faith, confidence, and trust that I can depend on them for safety.
