As a TV director myself, I had my suspicions. There's no way the supportive uproar we heard could have even materialized that quickly for how quick the shot was and how a natural "reaction delay" occurs through live stadium mics. Question: was this a Fox decision or were they ordered to by the WH?

Broadcast journalism 2000 grad, here. Felt sick as the Telecommunications Act of 1994 opened the floodgates for unlimited ownership; saw the mass radio buy-ups ruin the industry I was ready to enter. It literally made me give up big-market ambitions and focus more locally; good move, in retrospect.

I stopped even *watching* years ago, for many reasons. The CTE report, mostly. But: "judgment calls". They ruined the game. And with only 17 games, one awful call can change the scope of a season. My time is better spent elsewhere!
