ive worked at a summer camp the past two years, it is genuinely wonderful. people who are mad about kids having new slang just hate fun.

the fact there’s nothing to hide the construction from view, as you’d normally see with construction on important buildings, absolutely makes it feel like an intentional statement.

i find the whole idea of “children think it’s funny when you intentionally lie to them as a joke” baffling. as a child when adults did that to me it was so genuinely upsetting and completely damaged any trust i had with them.

i tend to just search up words i don’t know, online dictionaries are way better about correct slang definitions than they used to be :p

i graduated college with a game design degree in dec 2023. as far as im aware, only one person from either the class of '23 or '24 has gotten a job at an actual studio. a few are trying to make it as indies. ive not seen an entry level job listing that isn't a clear scam in months.
