Today, on #TransDayOfVisibility (and every day!) I see and support my trans family and friends, and those I haven’t met. Especially now, may you be seen, loved, and safe. Protect Trans Kids and Protect Trans Adults. 🫶🩷🤍💙

Fellow GenX -ers. Check your vax status! I wanted my doc to check my tigers for MMR but they don’t do it bc insurance doesn’t cover it. She said I’m prob fine and got two. Went to look at my little booklet and I only got one! But check out all that polio protection!!
Will be getting a booster asap!

This administration’s priorities are anti-humanity on multiple levels.

How have we allowed this man to run the Department of Health and Human Services? This is beyond shameful. I fear for scientific and medical research, access to medications that many of us rely on, and so much more.

The wild irony of this play being put on at the KENNEDY center.

The whitehouse.gov website looks like a high school junior’s MySpace page, they’ve scrubbed health research/information from it, and have officially erased trans folks from other sites. None of this is normal or acceptable. F$&@! this administration so hard with zero lube.

Sometimes seeing a visual is helpful. This chart showing what taxes may look like in 2026 by income group is a stark reminder that this administration doesn’t care about anyone beyond the 1%. Read the entire report here: itep.org/federal-tax-...

Beyond grateful that the teen goes to a school that sends out reassuring and affirming emails like this, but hate that this new administration is the cause of such correspondence.

What I just found when Googling the White House, Reproductive Rights. The first few links go to the 404.

As someone who lives with General Anxiety Disorder and Panic Disorder, it’s rough out there lately and the urge to curl up into a shell is strong. You don’t need to (and shouldn’t) consume news 24/7, especially when it isn’t always fact.
But that doesn’t mean we look away either. Find your balance.

#Perimenopause check in: anyone else find themselves getting so ANGRY when that is not in your usual character at all? Yesterday I exploded on the teen and today the manpanion was the recipient of my wrath. In both cases the grievances were annoying but not rage worthy.

Got my booster yesterday and am achy AF. Teen tested + for COVID last night (1st time for him). 🤞 I don’t waste the booster by catching it. 😷
